ST-2, SingTel’s very own satellite, was launched on 20 May 2011 to replace our existing ST-1 Satellite, and to renew the operations of ST-1 satellite co-located at 88 degree orbital slot. ST-2’s Satellite Control Centre (SCC) ground system uses state of the art technology from Integral System, Inc. (ISI), a leading service provider since 1982. It supplies ground system hardware and software for companies such as NASA, Motorola, Lockheed Martin, Loral Skynet and PanAmSat etc. Our Flight Dynamics operations uses ISI’s OASYS, a high precision orbit analysis system (software), to analyse and predict the spacecraft’s orbital location, as well as plan station keeping manuvuers (SKM).
